Frequently Asked Questions

Our average completion time for an Enhanced DBS check with the Child and Adult Barred List is just 4 days. However, several factors can influence processing times, many of which are beyond the control of the DBS provider.

At Unite Compliance, our servers send and receive data instantly upon application submission, rather than processing in bulk. This allows us to initiate applications sooner and deliver results faster.

Our platform seamlessly integrates the update service into its core system. When submitting an application, you can specify whether you want the certificate to be added to the update service. If selected, the certificate will be registered as soon as processing begins, ensuring it is added before the cutoff period.

Additionally, our platform allows you to automatically monitor certificates registered with the update service in the background, whether they were processed through Unite Compliance or elsewhere. You can choose to monitor daily, weekly, or monthly, and we’ll notify you immediately of any changes.

Yes. Once an application is complete, a downloadable PDF report is immediately available. This report includes the check results, your organisation’s name, the applicant’s details, the certificate number, and the application number. It serves as a valuable document for demonstrating compliance while awaiting the arrival of the printed certificate.
